3 AJF6’s Release Saturday
It’s a fusionrific weekend starting Saturday 3/14, when 3 color-ups of the Air Jordan Fusion VI release at House of Hoops and select Foot Locker and Footaction locations. The AJF 6 (a mix of the AF1 and Jordan VI) is releasing in a low and mid of multiple colors, whose releases were originally planned for 3/14 and 3/21, but now are going to be consolidated on 3/14. The AJF 6 mid stealth/red/graph/blk and the AJF 6 low wht/red/stealth are hitting all House of Hoops locations, and select Foot Locker stores. The AJF 6 mid wht/crt/blue is hitting House of Hoops and select Footactions. Shots of each are below, finding more detailed looks in the gallery.

AJ1 Hi blue-sapphire
To compliment the blue accents on the AJ1 Velcro Premiums, these retro Jordan 1 Highs are almost entirely blue-sapphire. Hitting all three House of Hoops stores the same day, 3/14, swing by and pick up a pair to add to your retro collection. Majority of the shoe is covered in an eye-popping blue-sapphire nylon, with a white midsole to break up the blue connection to the outsole. These are completely different from previous AJ1 Hi releases, thanks to the beautiful color and uncommon nylon material, so make sure to cop. Check out additional shots after the jump.
AJ1 Velcro Premium Low jetstream/blue
Jordan 1’s are hot in every style and colorway, even if they’re rockin’ Velcro straps. These jetstream/blue premium lows are dropping 3/14 at all three House of Hoops locations. Most shoes can’t pull off Velcro straps without laces, but that’s definitely not the case with these. The upper and toebox are predominantly a jetstream color, appearing as metallic leather, with blue-sapphire accents such as the logos found on the toebox and heel. Overall, they’re simple but the unique straps and metallic appearance make them a must have. More store shots below.
SuperSonics Pack Release Reminder
The SuperSonics edition is the second to last championship series pack to hit select Foot Lockers, Footactions and all three House of Hoops stores tomorrow, 3/14. Each pack represents Jordan’s greatest NBA memories as a Chicago Bull, so make sure to pick up as many as possible. If you happen to miss out on the first four packs, no worries… the last pack, Utah Jazz, is dropping next weekend, 3/28. Each consists of both home and away colorways of the AJ1 Phat Low, with a compliment of a Jordan Six Rings. Check out the gallery for individual shots from each edition.
“For the Love of the City” pack at House of Hoops
On 2/21 all House of Hoops locations are getting four shoes that celebrate Chicago, Houston, New York and LA. The Chicago is an Air Force 2, a rarely released silhouette, fur lined for warmth in the windy city. Houston is repped by a Vandal Hi, candy-painted purple with drips along the mid-sole rumored to represent “sizzzurrp.” NYC is a Dunk Hi with a glow-in-the-dark outsole for the city that never sleeps. Finally there’s the LA Dunk Lo, pieced together with white contrast stitching (even the swoosh is just a stitch outline) alluding to plastic surgery sutures found on the city’s elite. Blazer High Premium Obsidian/Pine Green/Black at House of Hoops
The Blazer seen below in the Obsidian/Pine/Black colorway will drop sometime during Holiday at House of Hoops.
The entire shoe except for the Swoosh and outsole are made up of the Foamposite material, much like the royal blue Blazer (coming soon) and eggplant Big Nike (just released). The only difference is this green doesn’t match up with a specific foamposite release, the closest resemblance being the dark army Foamposite.
The laces, Swoosh and back heel panel are all black suede. The back heel also features a white stitched Nike logo. For more shots of the Blazer Premium hit up the Gallery.
Nike Zoom Kobe V Chaos December 26th
The Zoom Kobe V “Chaos” will release at Foot Locker and House of Hoops on Saturday, December 26th.
Coming off a Championship season with the Lakers and the lightest basketball shoe of all time, Foot Locker brings you the next installment of the the Black Mamba’s signature line with the Zoom Kobe V. The Kobe V Chaos colorway features a super lightweight white and chameleon upper, a white midsole with red speckles and a bright lime green Swoosh and outsole.
The outsole is bright lime green with a chameleon Kobe logo and black & purple carbon fiber. The Kobe V is similar in shape to the Kobe IV as it is a low cut shoe once again. Be on the look-out the day after Christmas for the Chaos V and for more shots and a wallpaper hit up the Gallery.
Kobe Unveils Rice Zoom Kobe 4
On Super Bowl Sunday a few hours before kick-off Kobe made a stop at Foot Locker on 34th St. in NYC to talk about his Zoom Kobe 4 and unveil a new special make-up for Rice High School. Nike and Kobe have a strong relationship with the school, and previously released a Rice Hyperdunk. Rice High School is getting these shoes just in time to wear them at the upcoming New York City Championships. Like the Hyperdunk, this special edition Zoom Kobe 4 should be available at House of Hoops at a later date. Shots of Kobe at the store and Rice players admiring their new kicks are below. These are the wht/ylw/grn and not the blk/grn/ylw shots that have been circling around.
Zoom LeBron VI Taxi-Inspired
LeBron will show some love for the city that never sleeps by rockin’ the NYC taxi-inspired Zoom LeBron VI in tomorrow nights Knicks/Cavs game. We’ve already seen the Big Apple and Yankees editions, but LeBron isn’t referred to as ‘The King’ for no reason. Here’s yet another New York-themed color-up of the LeBron VI. The upper and toebox are predominantly black; with yellow patent accents and a metallic swoosh. To top it off, the ankle and heel areas are covered in a checker pattern taken straight from an NYC taxi cab. Similar to the other NY editions of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI, these are limited but they’ll be available tomorrow at the House of Hoops in Harlem in addition to four more New York locations listed below. Air Force 1 All-Star at House of Hoops
The All-Star Pack hits House of Hoops on 2/7, and besides the East/West foamposite, huarache and hyperdunk which have been getting a lot of ink, there will also be an Air Force 1. This Air Force 1 is not a blue/red east/west release, instead sporting colors to match with the Arizona themed 2009 NBA All-Star logo. The body is made of dimpled basketball leather, and the orange/purple/yellow color combo jumps at you. This is super limited so good luck. It is also limited to only the NYC and LA House of Hoops unlike the other All-Star releases.
