Nike Dunk High Premium SB “Brain Wreck” by Todd Bratrud

Possibly the best Dunk SB High for the year at the moment is the “Brain Wreck” quickstrike designed by the Minnesota-based skate artist Todd Bratrud. The “Brain Wreck” edition is the third Dunk SB High created by Todd after releasing the “Send Help” in 2006 and brown/pink/blue highs in last Fall.
Thanks to Todd and Nike SB made some changes over the sample pair to complete this excellent concept and design. The grey suede upper remains, however the white Nike Swoosh seen on the samples has been replaced with a tonal grey leather Swoosh. You may also remember how the toe-box on the samples was white. Well, its pink now, to match the pink tongue. The final difference is the outsole. It was pink on the samples and as you can see its now black. The Brain Wreck branding on the heel of the sneakers remains as seen in the samples. Anyway, the retail version is far better than it used to be. Must cop item for the year. Now available at our online store.

Nike Dunk High Premium SB Quickstrike "Gucci" aka "RESN"

Girl Skateboards had designed the shoe in 2005, which came in black denim and of course the infamous Gucci colors. Supposed to be in the same “Team Manager” series as the Diamond Supply “Tiffany” Dunk SB Low and released in 2005 Decemebr, then some issue inside the Crailtap crew came up and the project was scrapped. As a result, there were only less than 30 pairs sample existing in the market before they coming back this year.
Nike SB team made a good shot to bring us back this legendary “Gucci” SB this month, it was just released as a quickstrike at premium Nike SB accounts around the world. No big changes on the shoes except replacing Nike SB tag by “RESN” (Girl Skateboards’ designer – Sam Smyth’s IBC Crew alias) on the tongues.
All of our stock were sold out during pre-order. So get it elsewhere while you can or you’ll regret.

Concepts x Nike Dunk Low Premium SB "Blue Lobster"

The Blue Lobster Dunk serves as the sequel to last summer’s original Lobster Dunk, a Nike SB that first made waves on May 31, 2008. The first “Lobster” was shipped and promoted by the “Concepts Fishing Company,” and came equipped with a poster, lobster claw rubber band, tee shirt and condiment box (replete with lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, wet nap and “butter” shoelaces) all embossed with the “Concepts Fishing Company” logo. The first 50 pairs sold were available in ultra-limited edition packaging, with all of the above-mentioned bundled up in an authentic Concepts wooden lobster trap.
This time around, it’s dangerous! The “Blue Lobster” is a dangerous sub-breed of violent crustaceans that have been wrecking havoc on the otherwise tranquil waters of New England. Priced at $250.00 usd, the actual Blue Lobster sneaker will be bagged, tagged and sealed in a HAZMAT foam container. Each pair will be joined by an official Nike SB tee shirt, hang tag and lace lock. The first 200 pairs will come with 1 of 2 Concepts x Alien Workshop skate decks (Images coming soon).
On June 20, while in line to pick up the Blue Lobster, Concepts will also be raffling off a pair of the original Lobster from 2008. Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each and the drawing will be held immediately following the release.
