BE & D Cosette Hobo Bag

Lately, I’ve been obsessing over the whole “Rocker Chick” look. It’s edgy, mostly black, and definitely stylish. I use to love when everything I owned, including my clothes and accessories, was colorful especially pink. Now my style has totally changed, and all I pretty much wear is black and white. Most people call it morbid, I like to call it classy and sophisticated.
The Be & D “Cosette” Hobo blends in very well with the “Rocker Chick” look. Not only is the handbag black, but it also has a silver chain that goes from one end of the bag to the other.
Even if you aren’t into an edgy look, this handbag can be carried by anyone with any type of style. What I like most about this bag is that you can use it all year long and at any time of the day. It’s casual enough to be carried during the day, but it’s also dressy enough to use at night.
The only feature I don’t care for on this bag is quilted panels featured on the exterior. I think the bag would of looked just fine with regular smooth leather throughout the bag. To me, the quilted panels are completely unnecessary. The handbag would of been just as gorgeous without the quilted leather, if not better. Overall, it’s a stunning handbag with a not-so-scary price!

The Be & D “Cosette” Hobo can be purchased at Shop Bop for $995. Being that the handbag is beautiful and made in the U.S.A., I would say it’s worth every penny. When a gorgeous purse is made with great quality it get’s a A+ in my book!

Alexander Wang Suede Coco Duffel Bag

Ahh… I remember my very first suede bag. I was fifteen when I received a dark purple suede flap bag by Coach. It was so pretty and had very rich aromatic smell to it. Little did I know how difficult it would be to maintain it in well condition as my bag served as a giant magnet to dirt and grime. Being too high maintenance for careless me at the time, I simply put it away and concluded that another suede handbag would never make it in to my collection again.
Browsing along the new handbag selection at ShopBop, I was reminded at how bad I would take my suede chances on again at the Coco Duffel Bag by Alexander Wang. I’ve always adored this duffel and owners of this piece speak nothing but great about it.

Solid suede makes up the comfortable silhouette of this bag from handles to base, and speaking of base, an array of distressed silver studs lines it’s bottom, would definitely add instant rocker chic look to your wardrobe. Intriguing indeed, and I can imagine how buttery soft the suede on this lovely is. You can find this Camel satchel with a price tag of $850 through:
**Day 2 Giveaway** Treesje Asher in Pumpkin (1 day giveaway)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
When I was going through my treasure trove of fabulous giveaway goodies, I discovered the Treesje in pumpkin. And being as it’s Thanksgiving (and I’m a non-turkey fan), I got an instant craving for pumpkin pie. Every year that’s what I look forward to… too yummy!
The second giveaway in our “30 Days of Giveaways” Event is — Treesje Asher in PUMPKIN!
The Asher is one of the most popular styles by Treesje! It’s beyond amazing, with a long trail of celebrity and everyday bag lover followers. Created by Treesje designers Laura Osbourne and Sheila Dardashti, the Asher comes dressed in a pumpkin spice leather and features the killer signature pleated front and braided handles (17.5″ with a 9″ drop). The top of this bag keeps your belongings stored with a zip top closure. When opened reveals many convenient pockets. The bag measures approx 19″ width x 13″ height x 5″ depth.
It’s a no duh why so many TBF’ers love this style!

For a limited time only, YSL is giving their clients in the New York and Los Angeles area the opportunity to purchase a customized Roady. The handle will be changed in the boutiques and be ready by the following day. And for further personalization, you can even have the bag monogrammed inside with initials or even a sweet message – this part totally complimentary.

The price range for the classic Roady ranges from $1195 – $1795 and the handles will cost $225 for the lizard, $385 for the ostrich and $515 for the crocodile.
This sounds so fabulous. Anyone plan on hitting the YSL boutiques to get their bags customized??
PRE-ORDER: Rebecca Minkoff Stud Morning After Bag in Black

Studded handbags and shoes are in high demand for this Spring 2009 season, and Rebecca Minkoff isn’t wasting anytime getting in on the trend.
Currently, at Saks Fifth Avenue you can PRE-ORDER one of Rebecca Minkoff’s latest pieces, the Stud Morning After Bag in Black. The studs featured on the handbag are so fabulous because they really make the handbag that much more versatile. You can carry this handbag during the day or at night and it will look stunning either way.
I have always been a fan of Rebecca Minkoff’s Morning After Bag not only is the handbag gorgeous, but it is also quite spacious. The Morning After Bag is so roomy that you can literally carry all of your essentials plus five times more and you will stil have plenty of room for more goodies.
I absolutely love a handbag that you can carry on your arm or your shoulder, and the Rebecca Minkoff Stud Morning After Bag lets you do just that. When you can wear a handbag 1-of-2 ways, it makes the handbag that much more meaningful especially in your growing collection. Some other details of the handbag include: double handbag straps with a 7″ drop; top zip closure; outside zip pocket; and nylon lining.
The Rebecca Minkoff Stud Morning After Bag can be PRE-ORDERED over at Saks Fifth Avenue for $685. If you decide to snatch one of these beauties up, know that the handbag will be shipped no later than March 30, 2009
Halston Allen Satchel

When I have written about Halston bags in the past, they have typically consisted of soft and unstructured styles. They were simple and almost completely void of decoration. They are in every way, an echo of what Halston is more famously known for — simple drape dresses. So when I came across the Halston Allen Medium Satchel, I found myself a bit confused. Yes, the bag is soft and unstructured. But this bag has what many other Halston bags do not — studs.
The Halston Allen Medium Satchel is more of a hobo than a satchel. The sides of the bag are made of pebbled leather, while the front and back are composed of super soft suede. Small, flat studs create a pattern that sort of reminds me of a starry night sky. However, it’s hard to tell exactly what look they were going for with this bag. Personally, I don’t hate this bag. But the pebbled leather/suede combo seems to be really throwing me off here. If I had it my way, this bag would be entirely suede. I do like the studs, however. I think they are pretty darn cute! How does everyone else feel about this bag?
