It’s far more subtle than the XX just a year before it, but this Bentley Continental GT coupe-inspired design relies on the inner-workings of the shoe to make up for whatever it is that the upper is lacking in the looks department. Interchangeable IPS made its debut, and the quilted inner lining and DNA themed outsole traction pattern were nothing short of luxe. As the general release colorways were for the most part safe and predictable, the fully red suede limited release version remains the most loved and worn XX1, just as long as you’re aware of your surroundings. |
