| Air Jordan Shoes XXIII (23)
It only seems fitting that Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith took on this most pressure-filled project that spanned over eighteen months from initial concept to final production. While the two poured all of their collective efforts into this shoe, along with a team of three hundred others, it’s Michael’s own stamp of approval that caps the last numbered Air Jordan. You’ll notice his thumbprint, albeit slightly altered, along the underside of the tongue as well as along the outsole serving as the traction pattern. With a Considered approach to construction unwaveringly at the forefront of the XX3’s manufacturing process, the flagship shoe showcases several stitch patterns and also hopes to pave the way for the footwear industry going forward, placing a premium on reducing waste during the process and ridding the factory of harmful chemicals and solvents. |
